The 30th of September marks the official conclusion of the FutureForward project, funded by the Erasmus+ programme. Over the past month, partner organisations in Italy, Spain, Germany, the Czech Republic, and Bulgaria held their respective National Final Stakeholder Conferences (Multiplier Events) to present the project’s outputs and discuss the implementation of AI tools in adult education.
The national conferences brought together adult educators, local training providers, policymakers, and digital skills experts to review the outcomes developed throughout the project. Key topics addressed during the events included:
- The FutureForward Trainer Platform: Presentations covered the core modules of the online platform, designed to support educators in delivering practical AI skills.
- Practical Applications: Demonstrations showed how lesson plans—covering topics such as AI in cybersecurity, media editing, digital management, and productivity—can be applied in real-world adult learning environments.
- Local Adaptation and Sustainability: Roundtable discussions focused on how local institutions across the five partner countries can integrate these open-access educational tools into their ongoing training programmes.
Although the formal project phase ends tomorrow, all outputs produced during the project remain fully accessible online for trainers and adult learning organisations:
- Trainer Platform: Includes foundational guides, pedagogical strategies, and adaptable lesson plans.
- MOOC and Learning Materials: Designed for adult learners to develop practical digital and AI skills for daily life and work.
- EPALE Community of Practice: A forum for adult educators across Europe to continue exchanging practices related to AI in education.
