We’re thrilled to share an exciting update from the Future Forward project, a European KA2 initiative focused on improving digital skills among adult learners and educators — particularly in the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools in daily life and work.
As we move into the second phase of the project — Work Package 2 — our focus is now on developing a key output: the FutureForward Online Trainer Platform.
This digital platform is being designed to serve as an online environment, equipped with supporting materials and all the necessary tools to implement and support effective training for adult learners on how to use AI tools in daily life scenarios and at work.
The goal? To make AI not just understandable, but usable by older demographics — giving educators the resources to empower adult learners in a rapidly evolving digital world.
Our project partners are currently co-developing the platform’s structure and content, drawing from real-world teaching experience and input from experts in AI and adult education. This co-creation approach ensures that the platform meets the diverse needs of educators and is truly grounded in practicality.
Looking Ahead: The FutureForward Transnational Training Course
We’re especially excited about a major milestone coming up in June 2025: the FutureFoward Transnational Training Course in Valencia!
During this international training event hosted by our partners at Universitat de Valencia, the platform will be piloted by our team, comprising Responsible Society, Budakov Films, Learnable and Berlink. This will be our first real-world test — a chance to explore the platform’s functionality, gather feedback, and refine it further before the final release.
We believe that meaningful change in digital education starts with well-supported educators. Through this platform, we’re taking a bold step toward a more inclusive and AI-literate future.
Stay tuned for more updates as we continue building the a more inclusive future, and get involved by following us on our Facebook Page and LinkedIn Page for further updates.
